Balancing Liquids

Long ago I realized the importance in balancing out what kind of water to drink. I discovered that drinking ionized water helped to add the extra pH (alkalinity) and antioxidants my body needed to be healthy. Since then I’ve fine-tuned this to a near perfect science. For instance first thing in the morning I’ll make my coffee with alkaline water from my water ionizer. Later I’ll fill a few bottles with hydrogen water  to drink throughout the day, while working and with various food or vitamins that I consume.

Later I’ll have more of a mix of alkaline ionized water or hydrogen water, about half & half. As I think about balancing my body’s liquids I will usually get a sense what my body needs.

Balancing Body-Position and Exercise

Another thing I’ve found to be very healthy for the body is to balance out my body positions and activity-levels. Since I work on the computer a lot, I’ve found that setting my computer on a raised surface allows me to work while standing up. I try to do half & half of standing and sitting while on the computer each day.

Then, another way I balance myself is to try to get a variety of exercise breaks (indoors/outdoors, ropes, dancing, etc.) When I started getting older I realized that I couldn’t get away with what I used to when I was younger. Without sufficient exercise daily the body simply cannot stay as healthy as it can with a nice balance of rest and exercise.

Healthy Balancing

There is no substitute for trying to get balance as you go with just about everything you do. There are unlimited applications of this principle. If you think about it, you might find thousands of ways. It’s not so much a “right or wrong”, it’s a balance. Here are just a few random examples.

  • Stress vs Boredom
  • Working for a purpose vs Playing around
  • Being prepared vs Being spontaneous
  • Overweight vs Underweight
  • Too much (of anything) vs too little (of anything)

Don’t wait till you develop a problem (with your health or anything else), put balance into your life now to ensure you stay healthy every single day of your life. I have found out that this is a very reasonable goal (not a lofty goal at all). See my testimonial.

Helping Freedom Win

Another large part of balancing out one’s life is to at least connect up with God daily and to help and love others as much as you can. Visit my home page for many ways you can help others.
